New questions about Festivals
Hi, our group consists of SHOTA,Mitsunori,Kenji and Kotaro(Engilish Department).Our groupe is collecting information about festivals(Chilean one).We would like to know:WHAT do they wear when at the festival?:WHAT do they use for festival music?(instruments):Purpose of the festival, WHAT do they respect?In JAPAN we often wear HAPPIcoat at the festival.

The most important festival our country is made in February, on Viña del Mar City, a charmer city fo tourist. It is called “Festival Internacional de la Canción”, and the competition there are many countries representative., and the awards is a Gold Gull and Money. Through 6 days, a lot of national and international artist.
In other Chilean cities there are many folks festival.
One of the most important festivals is done in Olmue city , called “festival del huaso de Olmué” in january, it is a festival where a typical chilean song is chosen by a contest. Many national artists are invited to go to this festival because it tries to gather all chilean families.
There ir another festival done in Rancagua City called “festival el verano canta en el cobre”, this is a contest just with youth and children singers, it is a beautiful performance of classical music that shows the best of the country.
