In elementary school, there is a religion class where the students can talk about ethical issues from a Christian perspective. In religious schools, the class is more oriented towards a particular religion.

If the children live in urban areas, many particpate in different activities after school, including additional English classes. If they live in rural areas, they generally return home and play or help with chores at home.

Older kids have a bit more freedom and may go to stores or malls.

Thank you for answering questions.
We were surprised, because there are no relegious classes in Japan.

When we were children, we also would play outside with our friends.

In Japan, we have school festival in September ot October evry year. Do you have any school events?
